Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in San Francisco, California. In this long-term contract position, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, and supporting accounts payable processes. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and help ensure our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries with accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure financial reporting accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and vendor communications.
• Collaborate with HR and Operations on payroll and expense reporting.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Help optimize financial workflows and systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in using NetSuite for financial operations is required.
• Solid understanding of journal entries and general ledger accounting.
• Familiarity with SaaS, Tech, AI, or startup environments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to meet deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
