CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Contracts Specialist based in Flower Mound/Southlake, Texas area. As the Contracts Specialist, you will play a critical role in reviewing, validating, and interpreting sales contracts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company standards. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a high volume of work in a structured, process-driven environment. Success in this role requires strong accountability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities for the Contracts Specialist:
• Review and validate incoming purchase orders, including government/military contracts
• Identify risks and contract issues, escalate for resolution, and ensure compliance
• Serve as a liaison between departments to gather required info for contract approvals
• Manage documentation and support audits for industry compliance
• Ensure timely, accurate communication with internal teams and external customers
Requirements for the Contracts Specialist:
• 5+ years of career success in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, process-driven career
• Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through
• Able to work independently and stay focused in a fast-paced setting where quality is imperative
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working under deadlines with repetitive processes
• Highly ethical, accountable, and structured in your work approach
Compensation for the Contracts Specialist:
• Employment type: Direct Hire
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, regular business hours
• Salary/Pay: $80-85K/year (+/- based on experience)
• Location: 100% on-site | Flower Mound now, Southlake this fall
