Job Description
A leading, national corporation is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their growing team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to build foundational accounting experience.
Responsibilities:
• Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Apply customer payments, reconcile AR transactions, and maintain up-to-date customer account records.
• Monitor aging reports and assist with collections efforts, including follow-up on past-due accounts.
• Resolve billing discrepancies by communicating with internal teams and customers.
• Reconcile bank deposits and support month-end AR close activities.
• Assist with preparing AR reports, statements, and audit requests.
• Help maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Support the broader accounting team with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting or ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and a willingness to learn.
