Job Description Job Description Junior Accountant Location: Hybrid in Seattle, WA Contract Type: 6-8 Month Contract Compensation: $28-$34/hour DOE LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant for a hybrid contract position with a leading organization in Seattle, WA. This role is perfect for someone early in their accounting career who is eager to gain hands-on experience across general ledger activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and review journal entries Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP Assist with internal and external audit requests Help prepare financial reports and schedules Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies Participate in process improvements and documentation updates Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-2 years of accounting experience (internships included) preferred Strong understanding of basic accounting principles Proficiency with Excel and accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and within a team Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Benefits: LHH Recruitment Solutions benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
