Our challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead UI Angular Developer to spearhead our front-end development efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Angular, modern web technologies, and a strong eye for design and user experience. lead a team of developers, collaborate with product and backend teams, and ensure the delivery of scalable, performant, and visually appealing web applications.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA is $110k - $118k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Angular-based web applications.
  • Architect and develop efficient, reusable, and scalable front-end components and modules.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring best practices and code quality standards.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Ensure responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and optimization of web applications.
  • Implement unit testing, integration testing, and automation practices to ensure robust code.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in front-end development and Angular ecosystem.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to project planning and estimations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with significant expertise in Angular (Angular 2+).
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with Redux/NGRX, RxJS, and other state management libraries.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and integration techniques.
  • Knowledge of front-end build tools like Webpack, Angular CLI, and npm.
  • Familiar with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, or Protractor.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
