Schedule: Full-time | In-person | 5 days/week | 40 hours/week

Position Summary

The office is seeking a Medical Office Manager / Administrative Assistant to work closely with Dr. Gordon. This role combines administrative and patient-facing responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients, ensuring a friendly and professional experience
  • Manage patient inquiries and communicate medical concerns to the physician
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate new patient and follow-up appointments
  • Coordinate referrals with specialists and external providers
  • Handle billing, payments, and insurance-related administrative tasks
  • Manage multiple phone lines and respond to messages promptly
  • Order and maintain office and medical supplies
  • Ensure the office is organized, clean, and efficiently run
  • Perform light medical transcription and other administrative support duties as needed

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
  • Computer literacy and experience with EHR systems
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Personal characteristics: professional, punctual, and dedicated to patient care

Preferred:

  • Experience with Medical Mastermind and QuickBooks

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $29.00 – $34.00 per hour (paid as an annual salary; commensurate with experience)

Schedule

Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Flexibility may be available)
