Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive medical office experience, and proficiency in managing clinical and administrative functions. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, managing financial aspects, and maintaining efficient office workflows. The Medical Office Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting high-quality patient care and operational excellence within our practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination
• Prepare billing reports for the billing department and financial reports for the accountant
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of medical records
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize practice management and patient care delivery
• Handle medical administrative support tasks such as appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and medical records management
• Maintain knowledge of managed care policies, utilization management, JCAHO standards, and other accreditation requirements
• Ensure all contracts with hospitals are updated

Requirements

• Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Practice Fusion, Epic, or similar platforms is a plus
• Knowledge of Quick Books is a plus
• Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations
• Supervisory experience overseeing clinical or administrative teams in a healthcare setting
• Strong financial management skills including budgeting and fiscal oversight
• Experience with medical billing processes and managed care policies is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in office or healthcare management roles
