Duties Set up and operate printing presses to produce high‑quality printed materials. Monitor press operations to ensure proper ink coverage, registration, and overall print quality. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing presses to keep them in optimal working condition. Collaborate with design and prepress teams to ensure accurate color management and layout design. Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Inspect printed materials for defects and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards. Maintain inventory of printing supplies and order replacements as needed. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Experience Proven experience as a Press Operator or similar role in a printing environment. Strong knowledge of printing processes, including color management, typography, and layout design. Familiarity with different types of printing presses, such as offset, digital, or screen printing. Proficiency in operating press machinery and performing routine maintenance tasks. Experience with prepress processes, including file preparation and proofing. Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design software. Ability to read and interpret job orders, blueprints, and production specifications. Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks.
