Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. Good Experience of project management and related experience in large software implementations or custom development.

Experience working within a technical team.

Experience within an Agile environment.

Project implementation and consulting experience.

Experience working with remote/virtual teams.

Familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Experience with project management systems, scheduling, time entry, and billing.

Knowledge of the book and magazine publishing industry and their workflows preferred.

Experience with JIRA preferred.

A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Certified Project Manager (CMP), or other related project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set project timeline
• Monitor project deliverables
• Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
• Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them

Qualifications

• Strong business acumen in project planning and management
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, economics, IT or another relevant field (MBA preferred).
