K&B Energy Solutions is searching for a Service Technician. K&B Energy Solutions provides generator, heating, cooling and electric services.
We are seeking a full-time technician to primarily perform generator maintenance. Additional experience which would help a candidate includes HVAC, electrical and or generator sales, repairs and installation. These are also potential growth opportunities.
Job Outlook
The Service technician travels to job sites to perform various tasks such as perform generator maintenance. The service technician also handles task related duties such as collecting payment, keeping vehicle inventory and working with other K&B Energy team members to handle clerical tasks such as filing warranty claims.
Functions
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency. Interact with customers through phone calls, texts, emails and in-person. Perform installation, troubleshooting, and repair of generators and HVAC units and related mechanical equipment. Repair or replace components including motors, compressors, valves, wiring, and piping as needed. Document activities thoroughly and communicate clearly to clients and management. Adhere to safety protocols during all field service operations to maintain a safe work environment. Operate heavy machinery or welding equipment as necessary for repairs or installations. Maintain a clean work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use.
Requirements
Background Check Ability to climb ladders Ability to use electronic devices Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, generators or related fields; construction background is a plus. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field.
